The Institute for the Environment & Sustainability at Miami University promotes and advances education on the core issues of sustainability for both the environment and human communities. At the graduate level, the Professional Science Master’s program emphasizes connectivity and real-world application, culminating in year-long, team-based projects that deliver analyses and solutions for local and regional municipalities.

The Miami Farm serves as a living laboratory for regenerative agriculture, integrated systems design and permaculture principles.
